Webinar – Towards Zero Waste

The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) hosted a webinar last 23rd of October 2020. It was a co-located event of CleanEnviro Summit Singapore supported by National Environment Agency which showcased a panel discussion about Singapore’s Zero Waste Master Plan.

It started with an opening address by His Excellency Marc ABENSOUR, Ambassador of France in Singapore; followed by an address and a presentation of the Zero Waste Masterplan by NEA representatives, Dalson CHUNG and Aleena KUA respectively.

Moderated by Professor Seeram RAMAKRISHNA, FREng, Everest Chair, the panel discussion participants were:

  • Roshith RAJAN, SODEXO

  • Strategies to overcome climate change, resource constraints, and opportunities in them.
  • Regulatory intervention to food waste, packaging waste (including plastics) and e-waste, infrastructure investment, industry development, R&D, and public consultation, outreach, and engagement.
  • Enhance Singapore’s climate, resource, and economic resilience to secure a sustainable future.
