Presentation at the FCCS about the Mandatory Packaging Reporting

Packaging represents one-third of the waste from the domestic sector. In order to meet the recycling targets of the Zero Waste Masterplan, Singapore is in the process of implementing a new regulation, the Mandatory Packaging Reporting.

Remi Cesaro was invited as a guest speaker by French Chamber of Commerce of Singapore on 18th March 2020 to present the goals and impacts of the Mandatory Packaging Reporting to its members.

The presentation covered the new obligations associated to the packaging “producers”, the expected implementation timeline, the penalties, and how organisations such as Zero Waste City and Label for Recycling can help.

FCCS Members are welcome to download the presentation slides here.

Remi would like to extend his gratitude to all the French Chamber of Commerce of Singapore who has made the presentation a success.
