Reducing waste and improving recycling can save on your bottom line and minimise your environmental impact. Aligned with Singapore’s Zero Waste Masterplan, SLA and WRMAS have jointly launched a Waste Management Programme. This Programme, supported by EnterpriseSG, aims to help local SMEs from the Transport & Logistics sector to implement waste management best practices.
Under this Programme, participating companies will benefit from a waste audit led by experienced consultants, leading to:
- A waste audit report
- Recommendations (with cost-benefit analyses) to reduce waste and improve recycling
- Ongoing support to facilitate the implementation of the most suitable opportunities
Zero Waste City, a Singapore-based sustainability consultancy firm, is one of the two pre-approved consultants appointed by EnterpriseSG to lead this programme. Eligible SMEs (at least 30% of local shareholdings) may access financial support covering up to 70% of the consultancy fees.
